HW80 custom .22

This gun started off it’s life as a commission made by Lloyd at Blackpool Air Rifles.

It is an HW80 with reduced cylinder internals using a 25mm HW77 piston. It has also been V-glided and has a bespoke set back trigger.

All the work was undertaken by Steve Pope at V-Mach for Lloyd. The original Gary Cane laminate skeleton stock was not to my taste, so that went off to a delighted new owner. The action has been custom blacked and is in its final throws of rejuvenation. It is due to go back to Steve for a five slot custom shroud.

The stock, pictured opposite is by Warren Edwards. Warren crafted the stock from a Turkish Walnut blank. His own personal brass inlay is inserted in the foot of the pistol grip and  combines with other custom brass work including inlays for forend screws and a brass trigger guard. Finished off with a Red adjustable Bisley  pad. More images to come soon.
