Weihrauch HW35E .22

The Weihrauch HW35 is a break barrel, spring powered air rifle first produced in 1951.

The top of the range was the HW35E (Export) with a selected walnut stock, palm swell, rosewood pistol grip cap with a white line spacer and a 60mm longer barrel (the longer barrel did not increase power).

The Export version was discontinued around 1985.

This particular gun still retains the original blued finish and the stock is also untouched. The internals have been serviced and treated to a V-glide by Steve Pope alongwith his upgrade to  the original Rekord  trigger unit to a precision trigger tune.

Topped with a Tasco 3-9x50 AG,  good looking scope of the 80's period, Japan made.

The rifle has been matched to Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum .22 pellets and is exceptionally accurate for an old girl(5 shots at 28 yards - opposite).
